AKSARALOKA.COM, BENGKAYANG-Danrem 121/Abw Brigjen TNI Luqman Arief, mendampingi Pangdam XII/Tpr Mayjen TNI Iwan Setiawan meresmikan dua Kodim baru di wilayah Kodam XII/Tpr, bertempat di Bengkayang, Kalimantan Barat, Senin (27/11/2023).
Dua Kodim baru yang diresmikan tersebut yaitu Kodim 1209/Bengkayang dan Kodim 1210/Landak yang ada di bawah Komando Korem 121/Abw.
Danrem 121/Abw Brigjen TNI Luqman Arief mengatakan pembentukan Kodim-Kodim baru ini merupakan implementasi dari rencana strategis TNI AD dalam hal ini di Kodam XII/Tanjungpura.
“Ini sebagai bukti bahwa TNI AD tidak pernah lelah untuk terus terlibat dan melibatkan diri dalam menciptakan situasi wilayah yang aman. Serta komitmen dalam mendukung seluruh program pemerintah untuk selalu melayani, mengamankan dan mensejahterakan kehidupan rakyat Indonesia khusus di tanah Kalimantan Barat,” kata Danrem 121/abw, Brigjend TNI Luqman Arief.
Danrem 121/Abw berharap, keberadaan Kodim baru khususnya di wilayah Korem 121/Abw nantinya dapat mendorong pemerintah daerah dalam melakukan percepatan pembangunan di masing-masing wilayah.
“Untuk itu saya berpesan kepada para Dandim beserta anggotanya agar segera melakukan komunikasi dan koordinasi, guna mendorong percepatan pembangunan. Yang terpenting adalah jika ada permasalahan di wilayah maka selesaikan secara arif dan bijak dengan mengedepankan adat budaya lokal yang ada di wilayahnya,” pesan Danrem.
Dengan diresmikannya Kodim tersebut, maka Korem 121/Abw kini membawahi sebanyak sembilan Kodim yakni Kodim 1201/Mempawah, Kodim 1202/Singkawang, Kodim 1203/Ketapang, Kodim 1204/Sanggau, Kodim 1205/Sintang, Kodim 1206/Putussibau, Kodim 1208/Sambas, Kodim 1209/Bengkayang dan Kodim 1210/Landak.
