AKSARALOKA.COM, KUBU RAYA – Berita duka datang dari perkemahan Relawan Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) tahun 2004 se-Kalimantan Barat.
Edy Septiadi (23) relawan PMI perwakilan dari KSR Unit Untan asal Kabupaten Sekadau meninggal dunia usai tenda yang ditempatinya tertimpa pohon di lokasi Taman Agrowisata Rekadena, Jalan Jeruju Darat, Jeruju Besar, Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, pada Rabu 18 September 2024 sekira pukul 04.30 WIB.
Diketahui Peristiwa ini terjadi beberapa menit setelah Adzan Subuh berkumandang. Hujan deras beserta angin kencang menumbangkan sebatang pohon dan menimpa tenda nomor 6 yang ditempati almarhum beserta 10 rekannya.
Akibatnya, 1 orang meninggal dunia, Nasruhin Asy Ari dan Elisus mengalami cedera, dan 7 orang lainnya selamat.
Kapolsek Sungai Kakap IPDA Dolas, melalui Kasubsi Penamas Polres Kubu Raya AIPTU Ade, membenarkan kejadian tersebut. Korban meninggal dunia diketahui bernama Edy Septiadi, relawan PMI perwakilan dari KSR Unit Untan asal Kabupaten Sekadau.
Sementara itu, dua korban cedera adalah Nasruhin Asy Ari, yang mengalami cedera pada lengan atas, dan Elisus dari Kabupaten Kayong Utara yang mengalami luka memar.
“Untuk korban yang meninggal dunia sudah dievakuasi ke Rumah Sakit Soedarso Pontianak, dan dua orang yang cedera setelah mendapatkan perawatan medis di evakuasi ke PMI Provinsi Pontianak dan rekan lainnya akan berlangsung di evakuasi ke PMI sambil melihat kondisi cuaca demi keamanan,”terang Ade.
“Prioritas utama kami saat ini adalah memastikan keselamatan seluruh peserta yang tersisa. Tenda-tenda peserta, yang berjumlah total 12 (7 putra dan 5 putri), belum dapat dipindahkan karena hujan masih berlangsung. Pemindahan barang-barang peserta baru akan dilakukan setelah cuaca membaik dan situasi aman,” jelas Ade.
“Saat ini petugas terus bersiaga di lokasi hingga seluruh peserta dan barang-barang mereka dapat dievakuasi dengan selamat,”tegasnya.
