AKSARALOKA.COM, PONTIANAK – Kepala Kepolisian Resor Kota (Kapolresta) Pontianak Kombes Andi Herindra mengimbau persoalan di Jalan Veteran Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan untuk tidak terprovokasi.
Minggu, 18 Desember 2022, malam. Jalan Veteran tak terlihat seperti biasanya, terlihat aparat melakukan penjagaan ketat.
Ratusan kepolisian disiagakan yang merupakan gabungan dari Polresta Pontianak dan Polda Kalbar.
Pengamanan langsung dipimpin oleh Kapolresta Pontianak Kombes Pol Andi Herindra, tak hanya itu Wali Kota Pontianak Edi Rusdi Kamtono juga turun ke lokasi.
Kapolresta Pontianak beserta Wali Kota Pontianak mencoba meredam agar situasi tetap kondusif.
“Sebetulnya kejadian ini terjadi sedikit salah paham antara dua kelompok warga yakni untuk mengelola area parkir salah satu rumah makan di Jalan Veteran,”ucap Kombes Pol Andi Herindra kepada wartawan saat ditemui di Jalan Veteran.
Dikatakan Kombes Pol Andi, sebelumnya persoalan ini, pihaknya bersama dengan Pemkot Pontianak sudah berusaha melakukan mediasi yakni agar parkir tersebut dikelola secara bersama.
“Ini pokok permasalahannya,”ujar Kombes Pol Andi.
Lanjut Kombes Pol Andi, untuk isu-isu yang berkembang di luar, diharapkan masyarakat tidak terprovokasi agar Kota Pontianak tetap kondusif.
“Saat ini ada sekitar 400 personil gabungan antara Polresta Pontianak dan Polda Kalbar yang kita ditempatkan di lokasi untuk melakukan pengamanan,”terang Kombes Andi.
“Tadi, saya bersama Wali Kota Pontianak sepakat untuk mengupayakan mediasi selanjutnya dalam waktu dekat ini,” sambung Kombes Andi.
Tentunya mediasi selanjutnya itu, ditambahkan Andi, yakni akan menghadirkan pihak-pihak terkait serta para tokoh masyarakat.
“Maka dari itu kami mengimbau, apapun informasi di masyarakat yang beredar di luar untuk tidak terprovokasi,” tuntas Kapolresta Pontianak.
