KUBU RAYA – Masyarakat 4 desa di Kecamatan Kuala Mandor B protes pembangunan jembatan gantung terlalu rendah hingga mengganggu arus lalu-lintas sungai.
Keempat desa tersebut Desa Padi Jaya, Desa Kubu Padi, Desa Retok dan Desa Sungai Enau.
Perwakilan warga, Sahidin mengatakan, aksi kali ini merupakan yang kedua kalinya karena tidak ada respons dari pihak pelaksana.
“Dengan dibangun jembatan gantung ini. Bupati Kubu Raya dan Gubernur Kalbar harus mengevaluasi dan meninjau jembatan gantung ini,” kata Sahidin, Senin (24/7/2023).
Sahidin menegaskan, jika aksi kedua inipun tidak direspons, maka masyarakat akan kembali turun ke lapangan dengan massa dari 4 desa yang lebih banyak.
“Apabila tidak direspons, akan ada aksi yang ketiga lebih besar dari masyarakat 4 desa,” ungkap Sahidin.
Sahidin berharap segeea ada tindak lanjut, karena masyarakat sudah semakin resah akibat terganggungnya perekonomian.
“Namun kita khawatir pada aksi yang ketiga, karena masyarakat sudah resah, jembatan ini menghambat lalu lintas di sungai,” ujar Sahidin.
Menurut Sahidin, mereka tidak mencoba menghambat pembangunan.
“Kami sebagai masyarakat tidak menghambat pembangunan, tidak anti pembangunan, jembatan gantung sekarang yang dibangun jangan sampai menghambat ekonomi masyarakat,” kata Sahidin, Senin (24/7/2023).
Sungai yang membentang di Desa Retok tersebut merupakan urat nadi masyarakat di 4 desa, sebab menjadi akses perekonomian untuk membawa hasil kebun pertanian, karet dan sawit mandiri.
Jembatan ini menghambat lalu-lintas kendaraan air yang membawa hasil kebun dan pertanian masyarakat. Kalau tidak menghambat, masyarakat tidak akan protes.
“Kehendak semua masyarakatdi 4 desa, pembangunan jembatan gantung itu harus ditinjau ulang oleh pemerintah, apakah layak atau tidak dilanjutkan pembangunannya,” ucap Sahidin.
Sahidin menerangkan, wilayah tersebut miskin infrastruktur jalan darat. Hanya ada akses kendaraan roda dua dengan dengan jembatan apung.
“Satu-satunya jalan yang bisa membawa hasil perkebunan adalah jalur air,” ungkap Sahidin.
