AKSARALOKA.COM, PONTIANAK – Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie (SSMA) Kota Pontianak menerima kunjungan 35 siswa SMAN 1 Pontianak dalam rangka kegiatan Parent Teaching Day.
Wali Kelas XII D, Wiwi Lasmana S Pd menerangkan, kunjungan ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan sekolah yang dilakukan setiap bulannya dan mulai berlaku tahun ajaran 2022-2023.
“Kunjungan ini juga bertujuan menjalin kerja sama antara sekolah dengan Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) SSMA Kota Pontianak dalam mendidik serta membentuk minat siswa-siswi,” tuturnya.
Dia menambahkan, kunjungan siswa-siswi dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok kecil. Mereka akan dibimbing untuk berkeliling, mulai dari ruang pendaftaran pasien, poliklinik rawat jalan, Instalasi Farmasi, Instalasi Radiologi, Instalasi Gawat Darurat, Instalasi Bedah Sentral, Instalasi Radiologi, Unit Hemodialisa, Unit Fisioterapi, laundry, Instalasi Gizi, kamar jenazah, tempat pembakaran sampah (incinerator) serta ruang rawat inap yang berada di lantai dua dan lantai tiga.
“Mereka akan mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai fungsi masing-masing ruangan tersebut dari petugas rumah sakit,” tutur Wiwi.
Daffa, satu di antara murid yang mengikuti program tersebut, mengatakan banyak manfaat yang diperolehnya dengan mengikuti kunjungan ke RSUD SSMA antara lain bisa mengetahui tiap sudut rumah sakit, bagaimana proses dan alur pelayanan, mulai dari pendaftaran sampai pasien dirawat inap atau opname.
“Ternyata yang bekerja di rumah sakit itu bukan hanya dokter tapi ada juga perawat, ahli gizi, apoteker, kesehatan lingkungan, kesehatan masyarakat, tenaga IT, petugas di Unit Fisioterapis dan banyak lagi yang lainnya,” ungkapnya.
Daffa mengaku pengetahuannya bertambah dan tak lupa pula ia mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pihak rumah sakit yang telah memfasilitasi kegiatan ini.
“Dengan kegiatan ini wawasan kami semakin bertambah selain itu kami juga bisa mengenal lebih dekat kegiatan yang ada di Rumah Sakit Kota Pontianak,” pungkasnya.
