AKSARALOKA.COM, PONTIANAK – Ada sesuatu yang berbeda pada upacara pengibaran Bendera Merah Putih HUT ke-78 Kemerdekaan RI. Di antara deretan barisan peserta upacara, ada satu barisan peserta yang mengenakan jaket berwarna hijau.
Mereka adalah driver ojek online dari Grab. Sebanyak 40 driver ikut serta menjadi peserta Upacara HUT Kemerdekaan di Lapangan Keboen Sajoek PSP, Kamis (17/8/2023). Keikutsertaan para driver ojek online (ojol) ini merupakan pertama kalinya di Kota Pontianak.
Ande (37), satu di antara driver Grab yang mengikuti upacara pengibaran bendera, mengaku bangga bisa menjadi bagian dari peserta Upacara HUT ke-78 RI tahun ini.
Sebagai Warga Negara Indonesia, dirinya merasa memiliki tanggung jawab terhadap negara. Oleh sebab itu, melalui keikutsertaannya bersama sesama driver lainnya, sebagai wujud kecintaan mereka terhadap tanah air.
“Semua lapisan masyarakat memiliki andil dalam kemajuan Indonesia. Saya yakin, apapun profesi kita, kita semua bisa berkontribusi untuk kebaikan negeri dan bangsa ini,” kata pria bernama asli Saputra ini.
Diakuinya, ikut serta dalam upacara di Hari Kemerdekaan ini merupakan pertama kalinya sejak ia menyelesaikan pendidikannya. Terakhir kali dia mengikuti upacara saat masih duduk di bangku sekolah.
“Saat mengikuti upacara hari ini, ada rasa terharu dengan perjuangan para pahlawan yang telah mendahului kita, bagaimana para pejuang mati-matian bertempur melawan penjajah hingga kemerdekaan itu kita rasakan saat ini,” lirihnya.
Ande yang telah menggeluti profesi ojol sejak dua tahun belakangan, menceritakan bagaimana para driver menjaga kekompakkan satu sama lain.
Meski para driver berasal dari berbagai latar belakang, baik itu ras, suku dan agama, namun mereka saling menghormati dan hidup rukun menjalani profesi sebagai ojol.
“Rasa persaudaraan terjalin begitu erat, kami selalu menjaga kebersamaan sesama driver, tidak hanya sesama driver Grab, tetapi juga driver ojol lainnya,” tutur driver yang beralamat di Kota Baru ini.
Di usia ke-78 tahun RI ini, Ande mempunyai setumpuk harapan untuk kemajuan bangsa Indonesia. Ia ingin negara yang dicintainya ini bisa semakin maju dari negara-negara lainnya, masyarakat yang sejahtera dan makmur juga menjadi dambaannya.
“Mudah-mudahan Indonesia lebih maju, damai dan aman, perekonomian terus tumbuh meningkat dan pendapatan kami juga ikut meningkat sehingga masyarakat Indonesia sejahtera,” imbuhnya.
City Lead Grab Pontianak, Mario, menuturkan, para driver mitra Grab semangat untuk ikut serta pada Upacara HUT ke-78 RI tahun ini. Semangat keikutsertaan mereka ini karena merasa mereka adalah bagian dari bangsa Indonesia.
“Semangat nasionalisme para driver kami ini ditunjukkan dengan ikut serta pada Upacara HUT Kemerdekaan tahun ini dan ini adalah pertama kalinya di Kota Pontianak kami mengikuti upacara bendera,” terangnya.
Mario berharap dengan partisipasi pihaknya ini bisa menjadi inspirasi bagi siapa saja dan profesi apapun itu, untuk membangkitkan rasa nasionalisme dan kecintaan pada tanah air.
“Harapan kami agar para mitra driver ikut berkontribusi dalam memajukan Kota Pontianak,” pungkasnya.
